Original "River" 12x16" painting

“River” was birthed from a moment of play and exploration. The light blue and deep red have been two significant colours i’ve been painting with since December 2024. These colours often represent peace (light blue) and the chaos (red) of life in my work. Here in they blend and intertwine, moving in fluid motion just like life does. It is also reminiscent of the B.C salmon runs, its chaotic, there’s a fight, a determination of will, and yet there is a peace about it and the river itself. Let “River” be a reminder that as life ebbs and flows there is always peace to be found, even in the midst of chaos.
